‘LPBW’: Speculations Arise Whether Audrey and Jeremy Roloff’s New Baby Could Be a Little Person – Exploring the Curiosity Surrounding the Possibility and its Significance for the Roloff Family – Famous People – cbstopnews.uk

Jeremy Roloff and Audrey Roloff, former stars of “Little People Big World,” recently announced that they are expecting their fourth child.

Despite their controversial online views, the news of their expanding family has generated a lot of excitement among fans.

One question on the minds of “Little People Big World” viewers is whether the new addition to the Roloff family will be a little person.

Both Matt and Amy Roloff, Jeremy’s parents, are little people, but only their son Zach has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism.

Out of their four children, only one has the condition. On the other hand, all three of Zach and Tori Roloff’s children have achondroplasia, even though Tori herself does not.

To add another example to the mix, Liz Johnston from “7 Little Johnstons” has achondroplasia, as do both of her parents.

However, Liz’s daughter with Brice Bolden, who is of average height, does not have the condition.

So far, Jeremy and Audrey’s three children do not have achondroplasia and are not little people.

However, fans still speculate whether the fourth baby could have it, especially as the due date approaches.

The chances of a child having achondroplasia depend on various factors. If both parents have the condition, there is a 50 percent chance the child will have it as well. If only one parent has achondroplasia, the odds are still 50 percent. It ultimately comes down to chance.

According to The Tech Interactive, the most common type of dwarfism is dominant, meaning it usually requires at least one parent to have the condition. If a person with this type of dwarfism has a child who is of average height, the child cannot inherit the condition. However, there is a rarer, recessive type of dwarfism that can be passed down, although the chances are much slimmer.

While fans won’t know for sure if Jeremy and Audrey’s fourth child will have achondroplasia until she is born, considering that all three of their other children, Jeremy himself, and Audrey do not have the condition, the likelihood is that the baby will be of average height like her siblings.
