LPBW: Matt Allows Amy to Take Over But…
Matt doesn’t seem to resist Amy taking the lead at the time. But, when he’s later alone in front of the Little People, Big World camera, he offers a blurb about her taking control.
So, Matt speaks into the LPBW camera with a little different story than what is seen on the screen.
Matt said that Amy Roloff can jump into the role of a dictator much faster than he does.
Then he sat with Caryn and talked a bit more about Amy jumping into the lead.
Caryn said it was fine by “us,” meaning her and Matt. She explains that the charity event was Amy’s idea. So, they are there to support her and help her. Caryn then said that she and Matt are “co-pilots.” While Matt chuckled and agreed with his bride-to-be, he couldn’t let it go.
Little People, Big World: Only Because He Let Her?
It looked as if Matt tried to save face later as he talked outside of earshot of Amy Roloff. The Little People, Big World patriarch said he was about to tell his ex, “Amy, if you are lucky, I will let you plan my fundraiser.” So, there, it seems while Amy Roloff took charge, it was only because Matt allowed her to do so. Or at least it’s that way from his perspective.
Caryn Chandler indicated that she was on board with what Amy was doing. Then Chris Marek said that because Amy has more experience than the rest of them in event planning, he and Matt will stay along the perimeter. So you have Caryn backing up Amy Roloff and Chris pairing himself up with Matt this week on LPBW.
When it was Amy’s turn to offer her take on all of this in front of the Little People, Big World camera, she didn’t sugarcoat a thing. She was adamant that someone needs to take control. If you don’t then there are too many leaders. And she sure does take control on the next new episode of the TLC series.
